Battlefield was looking to continue their early season dominance on Monday against Loudoun Valley, but the Vikings had other ideas. The two teams went back and forth in the 1st half, with Battlefield clinging to a 7-5 lead. But, the Bobcats would not be denied in the 2nd half, outscoring Loudoun Valley 9-2 and clawing their way to a 16-7 win.

The Bobcats got 2 goals each from Freshman, Kate Himes and Senior, Shannon Rogers. Sophomore, Carlie Rosenburg had 3 goals, giving her 6 goals and 3 assists on the year. Star-Senior, Alexandra Kugler did what she does, chipping in 2 goals and 2 assists. Talk about being on fire- Junior, Brynn Sunderland scored 5 goals last week against Broad Run…. well, she enjoyed it so much, she decided to do it again, dropping another 5 goals against Loudoun Valley.

News Flash: The Bobcats are really, really good.

Next up, Battlefield faces Briar Woods on April 15th.
