Battlefield has been firing on all cylinders this season, winning their last 2 games by an average of 13 goals. Friday was no different as they beat Broad Run 19-7

The Bobcats have a great mix of young and experienced players on the roster, as evidenced by their scoring leaders- standout Freshman, Kate Himes had 3 goals, giving her 9 already on the young season, while fellow¬†Freshman Goalie, Jordan Edwards had 4 saves. Junior, Brynn Sunderland nearly doubled her season total in the game by scoring 5 goals. But, the Bobcats star-senior, Alexandra Kugler just keeps getting better…. by 2’s. Kugler was coming off 2 goals against Hylton, then 4 goals against Forest Park, and she did not disappoint lacrosse and math fans alike with her 6 goals Friday. If she keeps this pace up, she will have like 30 goals in her final game of the year.

Next up, Battlefield faces Langley and Annandale on April 9th.
