Woodson closed their regular season with 5 straight wins and they were determined to keep it going as they opened the playoffs against West Springfield on Monday night. The Cavaliers wasted no time at all, going up 6-0 in the 1st and never looking back and rolling to a 16-7 win.

Junior, Jackson Miller had 2 goals and 3 assists. Standout-Sophomore, Bobby Solomon continued to impress, putting up 4 goals in the game. Solomon now leads the team with 39 goals. Senior, Noah Guttendorf couldn’t let the underclassmen have all the shine– all he did was drop 4 goals and an assist. This is just what these 3 guys do. Miller and Guttendorf have 32 goals each on the season, to go along with Solomon’s 39– that places them all in the top 10 of all goal scorers in NoVA.

Next up, Woodson faces Lake Braddock in the conference semifinals, May 11th.
